The Braxtons The Boss (Masters At Work Album Mix) 1996

Absolutely love this! Came out on the Atlantic label in 1996, think mine was a doublepack. Listening to this wonderful Masters At Work remix today this has to be amongst the best pieces of vinyl that I own. I wish all house tunes sounded as good as this one, this makes for a very happy club! Only problem is...what to follow it with..Anyway..soulful house ,funky house, call it what you want but it is super super dope and one of Masters At Work's finest hours.

First of, why do people have to mess around with stone cold classics? Can't we just leave this one alone. One of the finest house tunes ever made, just needs leaving alone. Same as Kings Of Tomorrow's 'Finally' or Masters At Work's 'To Be In Love' Agree? Anyway...Frankie Feliciano actually models this into a different record, maybe the 'Reconstruction' bit alludes to this? This is ok, this is allowed! It's also very good. But that's it now, we don't need any more remixes of this.

First heard this on the Hed Kandi World Series Mixes in 2003, been hooked ever since, not only on this record but on that mix as well. Hed Kandi's finest hour without doubt. It also helped that I heard this mix in full whilst lying by a pool in Ibiza with some good friends. This is an awesome tune, can't believe it's 10 years old..
