Mishal Moore Oh Lord (June 2009)

It's really the Muthafunkaz mix that is closest to a soulful house track with its more prominent 4-4 beats. The Kenny Dope mix seems to twist old jazz with a hint of funk, and the original version is straight up 1940's jazz, Billie Holiday meets Erykah Badu! And there's nothing I don't like about those two artists! A nice track.

Jazzy Jeff House Of Tribe (Feb 2009)

Nice dubby percussion track from Jazzy Jeff. Also has mixes from Terry Hunter and Kenny Dope. I feel Dope throws too many beats in his mix though.. Sounds suspiciously like a sample from Freda Payne's killer Unhooked Generation..
