First of, why do people have to mess around with stone cold classics? Can't we just leave this one alone. One of the finest house tunes ever made, just needs leaving alone. Same as Kings Of Tomorrow's 'Finally' or Masters At Work's 'To Be In Love' Agree? Anyway...Frankie Feliciano actually models this into a different record, maybe the 'Reconstruction' bit alludes to this? This is ok, this is allowed! It's also very good. But that's it now, we don't need any more remixes of this.

Something a little different here.. mainly the vocal delivery from Zara McFarlane. Very interesting with lovely production as well. Hard to describe this one, beats almost sound afro infused with a bouncy electronic bassline over the top...Listen..

Jon Secada? He's that bloke that did that tune in 1992....what was it called now...(checks Youtube..) That was it, Just Another Day Liked that one as well. Anyway, he appears to be doing a house track here; suppose you got to pay the bills. This is a nice mellow tune actually, he sounds good on this and it almost sounds like a lullaby with the title really suiting the song. Some powerful stabs of female vocal in this as well, nearer towards the end. Very tasty.

TJ Cases used to produce UK Garage back in its heyday and didn't stop at one or two classics either. He produced the massive 'Do It Again' and also 'Joy' amongst others. Seems he's not yet content with this so turns his production skills to soulful house music - and what a good job he does! This one's quite simple in essence but the vocal, particularly the chorus, seems to really do the business.
This is the first ever post on my soulful house blog. And what better way to start than with an absolute legend of music, Mr Roy Ayers. This is lovely and mellow with some beautiful vocals and driving percussion then builds up nicely with an organ and female vocal to create a really nice collage of sound! I'm assuming that Roy Ayers himself didn't mix this track but can't find too much information on it, regardless, this is a real quality piece of music and well worth checking out.
