Mishal Moore Oh Lord (June 2009)

It's really the Muthafunkaz mix that is closest to a soulful house track with its more prominent 4-4 beats. The Kenny Dope mix seems to twist old jazz with a hint of funk, and the original version is straight up 1940's jazz, Billie Holiday meets Erykah Badu! And there's nothing I don't like about those two artists! A nice track.

The track 'Tell Me' sounds like a kind of Prince vocal...but is deep and trippy...very nice indeed...'Who Need Something' sounds like a less brash rave chord with nice beats...erm...Then 'Dangerous Girl' flips us onto the soulful house vibe which is nice as that's what this site is supposed to be about..Could imagine Usher singing this one...All in all, a nice EP.
